WORKSHOPS

At The Actors Umbrella we offer a wide range of workshops. Our workshops vary from being online via Zoom, to in person, where we have hosted workshops in Central London and Central Manchester. Our TAU coaches lead a variety of our workshops, but we also pride ourselves on our external professionals who host workshops. We have had leading Casting Directors and Agents host workshops for our TAU students and we are passionate about providing networking opportunities for young actors.

ONLINE TRAININGTHE 5 DAY COURSE
Our 5 day course consists of 5 x 30 minute consecutive acting for screen sessions led by our industry professional coaches. In each session we will work on new scripts, techniques, and skills to advance your acting & auditioning for screen. This will also include a self-tape challenge with a detailed feedback portfolio with a script handpicked from our team depending on your casting.

You will be given a daily time-slot that works for you and the sessions will be taking place via Zoom. If you are not available for 5 consecutive days, let us know your availability over the 6 weeks and we will do what we can to accommodate.

SUMMER IN PERSON WORKSHOP 2026THE OLD DIORAMA ARTS CENTRE
Our annual in-person Summer Workshop is back: Monday 24th August.

This intensive one-day workshop focuses on audition technique and creating new material perfect for your Spotlight profile. Each actor will rehearse and refine two contrasting scenes, which will be taped during the workshop. Giving you strong, polished footage ready for your Spotlight profile.

The day will be led by our expert coaching team of professional working actors, offering practical guidance, personalised feedback, and industry-level insight throughout.
